    Website FAQs

How do I view auctions by location?

    ● To access our auctions, you have two options: either visit the homepage of our website, where you can find a comprehensive list of all ongoing auctions, or navigate to our live auction page and click on the provided links to explore the available auctions.
How do I view available lot(s) in each auction?
    ● To access the full list of available lot(s), simply click on the “BID NOW” button located beneath the description of each auction. Also, it’s important to note that clicking “BID NOW” on our website does not automatically place a bid on the auction.

    Where are your auctions located?

    ● At present, our online auctions are exclusively available in Dallas, TX. However, we plan to expand to other locations in the future. We encourage you to check back regularly for updates. To view our auction locations, please click here.
    How does the auction work?
    ● Once bidders have successfully registered and confirmed their accounts, they can proceed to click the “BID NOW” button to access the complete list of available lots in each auction. Bidders have the freedom to place bids on any lot(s) they desire, without any restrictions on the number of bids. Two bidding options are available: bidders can either opt for a “Quick Bid” or submit their highest bid for each lot. Whenever a bidder is outbid, the system will promptly notify them. At this point, the bidder has the choice to increase their bid or withdraw from the auction. Notification will be sent to winning bidders once the auction concludes, informing them of their success. Following the auction, it is the responsibility of the winning bidders to collect their respective lot(s) from the location specified in the auction(s). Should you require further details about the bidding process, please refer to the Bidder FAQ section provided below.

Why am I unable to access my account?

    ● For new bidders, we kindly request that you check your email inbox and locate the registration email that was sent to you. In some cases, it might be necessary to check your spam filter as well. If, after thorough checking, you have not received the registration email, please do not hesitate to contact us for further assistance.

    Bidding FAQ – Lots

How do I register to bid?

    ● The registration process is quick and effortless! To complete your registration, please click here and fill out our registration form.
How much does it cost to register to bid?
    ● Registering to bid is completely FREE!

How do I submit a bid?

    ● Once you have successfully registered as a bidder and confirmed your account, please log in to your account and proceed to the lot’s listing page. On this page, you have two options: either enter a “Quick Bid” or manually input the highest amount you are willing to bid for each lot. After making your selection, simply click “Submit Bid”. It’s important to note that you will only be required to make a payment if you emerge as the winner of the auction.

What’s the difference between a “Quick Bid” and a “Highest Bid (Proxy Bid)”?

    ● Bidders have the flexibility to choose between two bidding options: placing a “Quick Bid” or submitting their highest bid for each lot. The “Quick Bid” is a one-time bid, and if bidders wish to make additional bids, they will need to enter them manually. On the other hand, if bidders opt to submit their highest bid, the system will automatically place bids on their behalf, up to the amount entered. To submit a highest bid, bidders simply need to enter the desired amount and click “Submit Bid”. Typically, the highest bid represents the maximum amount that a bidder is willing to pay for a particular lot. It’s important to note that the bidding amount increases in accordance with the bid increment specified in each auction. Winning bidders will only be required to pay their highest bid (Proxy Bid) amount if the bidding reaches that level.

Is there a cost to place a bid?

    ● No cost at all! Bidders don’t pay anything unless they win the auction.
What happens if I want to withdraw my bid?
    ● In the event of an erroneous bid submission, please contact us via email at hello@auctionstogo.com, providing the lot ID for reference. Please note that as per our Terms of Use, bids are generally non-retractable once submitted. Therefore, it is highly advisable to exercise caution and refrain from bidding unless you are fully certain and committed to purchasing the lot.

Will I receive notification if I win?

    ● Yes, bidders receive an email notification for each auction they win.
Is there a way to track lots as the auction progresses?
    ● Bidders have the option to save specific lots to the “Your Favorites” tab, conveniently located on the bidding pages of our website. Once you have completed the registration and account confirmation process, simply log in and select the desired auction to view its comprehensive list of individual lots. To add a lot to “Your Favorites,” click on the star icon located on the right side of the lot title. By clicking on “Your Favorites” at the top of the auction bidding page, you can easily access and monitor the selected lots as the auction progresses.

What happens if a bidder places a bid in the last few minutes of the auction?

    ● Auctions To Go employs a popcorn bidding system, which operates by automatically extending the closing time of the auction if a bid is placed within the last few minutes. This mechanism guarantees that every bidder has an equal opportunity to submit their final bid(s) before the auction concludes.
I won lot(s) from multiple auctions. How do the charges work?
    ● Please note that each auction is billed individually. In other words, if you happen to win a lot in our Electronics Auction as well as another lot in our Kitchen Auction, you will observe two distinct charges on your credit card or bank statement. This holds true even if you opt to collect your items from the same warehouse location.

How do I pay for the lot(s) I win?

    ● For detailed information regarding payment, kindly refer to our Terms of Use. As per our policy, the winning bidder is required to make full payment before the removal or transportation of the purchased lots can take place.

    What is a Buyer’s Premium?

    ● A Buyer’s Premium is a percentage calculated based on the winning bid amount and paid by the buyer. This premium assists in covering administrative costs and other fees related to the item processing.

Why do I see multiple charges for the same amount?

    ● Please ensure to review all transactions for invoices with matching total amounts. Occasionally, some financial institutions may display pending charges. It is advisable to wait for 72 hours to see if the charge is reversed by your bank before reaching out to Auctions To Go for any further assistance.

    What is the return policy?

    ● Auctions To Go provides an Eight (8) Day Return Policy for bidders. If the lot(s) received do not match the description, bidders have the option to return them within this timeframe. To be eligible for a return, the lot(s) must be in the same condition as received, including all parts and accessories. Failure to include all components may result in the seller declining the return request. It is essential to review the Terms and Conditions of each auction to determine the final date and time by which returns can be received.

How do I get the lot(s) I win?

    ● Winning bidders are required to collect their lot(s) within the designated pick-up window stated on the auction. For added convenience, Auctions To Go provides contact-less pick-up options in Texas. If you need to ship lots outside of the area, please get in touch with us for more information on the shipping process.

How long do I have to pick-up my lots?

    ● Bidders are granted a period of eight (8) days from the auction’s closing date to pick up their lots. The specific pick-up cutoff and time for each auction can be found in the terms provided for that auction.

    Can I pick-up same day?

    Can I check-in by phone?

    ● At present, we do not provide a call ahead service. The check-in process operates on a first-come-first-served basis.

    Bidding FAQ – Pallets

What’s the difference between pallets & individual items?

    ● Our pallets come pre-built and consist of a variety of products. It’s essential to be aware that these pallets may contain up to 15-20% fallout, which refers to unusable products. They are particularly ideal for resellers and open-air market vendors who require a substantial quantity of items. However, if you are an everyday shopper, we recommend bidding on individual items rather than pallets. Individual items are available for separate purchase.

Can I pick the items included on my pallet?

    ● No, winning bidders are required to accept ALL items on the pallet at the time of purchase.
    Is there a fall-out guarantee?
    ● Our pallet auctions feature pallets that come with a 15-20% fallout guarantee. Fallout in this context pertains to damaged, missing, or non-functional products.

What is the return policy for pallets?

    ● After winning the auction, bidders will be given the chance to inspect their pallet(s) on-site before any breakdown or removal takes place. In the event that the pallet(s) fail to meet the winning bidders’ satisfaction during the on-site inspection, they can request an immediate refund for the items.

How do I pay for the pallet(s) I win?

    ● For comprehensive payment details, kindly refer to our Terms of Use. As per our policy, the winning bidder must make full payment before the removal or transportation of purchased pallets can take place.

How do I get the pallet(s) I win?

    ● Winning bidders must pick-up their pallet(s) within the pick-up window posted on the auction. Auctions To Go offers convenient contact-less pick-up in Texas. Please contact us for information about shipping items outside of the area.
